Two cautions for spins, no wrecks. The race was completed in just 34 minutes. Jefferson scored top points for the race and moved from sixth in the points to second. It was old home week of tour days past with Jefferson picking up the victory, Evans second and John Dillon in third. David Minegar destroyed his BodyBuilding.com Chevrolet as he touched the front stretch wall and the cut tire finally let go entering turn three sending him straight into the wall. No less than six teams offered up a car for Minegar to drive in the feature race but he and the team elected to sit out the race. Seven of the top ten started outside the top ten. 17 of 19 cars running at the end of the race. Minegar may sit out the next couple of races and crew chief for his teammate Craig Bell and set him up for a championship run.
